Who we are
A genuinely local locksmith, not a call centre
The Little Locksmith is an independent, Halifax-based locksmith covering Halifax town and the wider Calderdale area. We're not a national franchise or a call centre that farms jobs out to whoever's nearest — when you call, you're speaking to the person coming to your door.
We're available 24 hours a day, because lockouts and lock failures rarely happen at a convenient time. Wherever it's realistically possible, we use non-destructive entry techniques rather than reaching for a drill, and we always explain what's needed and why before starting any work.
Alongside emergency call-outs, we handle the everyday side of the trade too: lock changes, lock repairs, uPVC door and window locks, and van or commercial security upgrades across Calderdale.

Most calls to The Little Locksmith are exactly what you'd expect: someone locked out of their own home, a snapped key, or a uPVC lock that's stopped working properly. We're just as comfortable with those everyday jobs as we are with the middle-of-the-night emergencies.
We also work with tradespeople and small businesses across Calderdale who want extra security fitted to a van or a commercial unit, on top of whatever locks are already there. If it involves a lock, it's very likely something we can help with, so if you're not sure, just ask.
